Created with Nexus Studios for BBC Sport’s Winter Olympics campaign The Fearless Are Here, directed by Smith &amp; Foulkes.
David worked on a film where athletes face mythological creatures born from snow and ice: the mountain, the cold, the competition itself made monstrous and alive. The visual language draws from traditional East Asian painting, a deliberate reference to the host country, rendered in cel animation with a palette reduced to black, white, and red.
The Fearless Are Here won the BAFTA TV Craft Award for Title and Graphic Identity.

David built the piece around movement, timing, and visual spontaneity, without a brief or a client. It went on to become Golden Wolf London’s most viewed and most liked Instagram post to date.
